It’s what you’ve been waiting for - Logos 10 is here! You can buy it now online, over the phone (888-875-9491), and by email (sales@logos.com).

So, what’s new in Logos 10?

Over the last two years, we’ve listened carefully to your feedback and heard many of you tell us, “I love Logos, but I wish it were simpler, faster, and offered even better value.” If you’re looking for that in Logos 10, I’ve got great news!

Logos 10 is simpler

Logos 10 has a fresh UI and a new left toolbar. New users will love the simpler access to frequently-used tools, while experienced users can minimize the toolbar to give more room to study.

We’ve completely rewritten our search syntax, eliminating all the angle brackets and curly braces. {Speaker <Person Jesus>} is now just speaker:Jesus. And don’t worry if old habits die hard. Any old syntax will automatically be converted to the new version. There’s a brand new All Search, giving you access to our new datasets without needing any special query syntax. Bible and Morph Search both get an upgrade, too.

With the revamped Favorites Tool, you can now search your favorites and even access them within a resource, making it easier than ever to find what matters most to you.

Logos 10 is faster

Logos 10 now has native support for Apple M1 and M2 chips, which gives a huge performance boost of around 35% to 50%. We’ve also updated to .NET 6, which further improves performance on both Mac and Windows. Logos 10 also uses our new Cloud infrastructure, which improves the performance of many of our online services.

Logos 10 offers even more value

Part of what makes Logos great is its rich tagging. In Logos 10, we’ve added millions of Factbook Tags to the books you already own, giving you deeper insight into theological concepts, historical and contemporary people, and Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic letters.

Logos 10 is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese (Traditional and Simplified). But even if you don’t speak those languages or don’t speak them as fluently as you would like, you can still access their treasures with L10’s Auto Translation tool. Open the side panel in almost any resource to get the text - including Latin - instantly translated into your own language.

A Logos update wouldn’t be complete without new datasets. Our Questions and Answers dataset finds resources in your library that answer questions on a myriad of biblical, theological, and practical topics. We’ve also mined our massive library to bring you the vast Popular Quotes dataset. Now you can find well-known quotes from authors even if you don’t yet own their work in Logos. After you’ve found the perfect quote, it’s a cinch to drag it into your sermon and share it with others.

Speaking of sermons, you can now bulk import all your sermons from Microsoft Word straight into Sermon Manager, and have Logos find and tag the Bible references, and add slides and formatting automatically.

Logos 10 also has new resources and tools to help you cement theological issues in their historical context with our Church History Themes and Dictionary of Church History. Advanced Timeline builds on our existing Timeline data, giving you more tools to find, organize and filter the events you’re most interested in.

But perhaps the feature that most excited our beta testers is the Print Library. Do you own or have access to print books? With Print Library, you can integrate them into Logos! Tell Logos which books you have access to - you can just scan their barcode with your phone - and if it’s in our vast catalog, Logos will add them to your Library so you’ll see large snippets and a reference or page number when you search your Logos library.

Of course, Logos is about much more than just the desktop software. We’ve also made huge improvements to both our mobile and web apps.

On tablets, new layout options allow you to have up to six books and tools on screen, all linked together. Sermon Manager and Canvas come to iPad for the first time, as does Draw on Screen, which allows you to annotate what’s on your screen and save the results to your Logos Notes or device’s photo album.

On both phones and tablets, Read Aloud uses text-to-speech to make nearly every book into an audiobook. Factbook cards in Bibles and a new text selection menu make interacting with books and Bibles incredibly easy and quick.

On the web, Auto Translation, Advanced Timeline, Sermon Import, Popular Quotes, and the search improvements have all been added to the existing suite of tools.

And there’s more to come. We’re not finished yet. Our mission is to equip the Church to grow in the light of the Bible. Our vision is to increase biblical literacy and accessibility for every Christian around the world. To help fulfill that, our commitment to you, our customers, is that we’ll keep bringing further improvements to Logos 10 over the coming months, just as we have with every other version.

Discounts

As we often do, we’re offering a 15% discount on all Logos 10 Base Packages and Libraries during the launch period. But we want as many people as possible to benefit from Logos 10. So if you already own a Logos Base Package (not including Basic), we’ll double that discount to a massive 30% for your first Logos 10 transaction. That means if you intend to buy more than one Logos 10 Library or Base Package, make sure you place everything in your basket at the same time. You’ll get a dynamic pricing discount for any overlap between the packages, plus a 30% discount on every Logos 10 Package or Library.

I’ve been at Faithlife for less than eight months, and it’s been a thrill to watch our incredibly talented team design and develop Logos 10. It will be even more exciting to see it in your hands, giving you life-changing insights whether you have five minutes to study, or five hours. I pray that Logos 10 will help you dig deeper into God’s Word and as the Spirit illuminates the Word, you’ll be transformed and empowered to minister to, teach, and serve others.
