I’m trying to track down a statement made by C.K. Barrett in his book The Gospel of John and Judaism. I need pages 12-15 if that is possible. I understand that he made the simple but astute comment that inquiry into the topic of "John and Judaism" is not, and never has been, a question of whether the Fourth Gospel has a relationship with Judaism. I want to corroborate that statement. I also want to know what sources he used in his analysis and interpretation. These are the pages the referencing author cited in his work but he never directly quoted Barrett so it makes it hard to see his analysis and points of entry into Barrett's work. I have sent in an ILL request and tried Amazon, Google Books and internet Archive.
