Notes + Indents within Notes = Crash/Freeze

Not once, but many times now...
I tried to write a note or take few notes in a note, and whenever I want to indent a bullet, the whole Logos Software will either crash or freeze and what happens is, the mouse keeps running round and round and round... (means it won't let me do anything) unless I "Force Quit" the whole thing (Logos). Is there a solution for this? Can someone help? Should I not indent at all? Will that help??
Thank you!

Mac Troubleshooting page has How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac - screen shot before freeze or crash would be helpful for replication. After crash (or force quit), posting logs would be appreciated.
Other option is contacting Logos => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

LogosLogScribe will automate the gathering and archiving of log data for posting on the forum. It will even leave the compressed log files on the Desktop so you will have no difficulty finding them.

I do not know when to create the log file. After Logos is crashed and before launching Logos again? Or should I do that after I launch/start Logos, after the crash?
I really really wish the Notes in Logos will work well, so we do not have to go outside of Logos Software to take notes....

Yes - recommended time to compress logs for posting

No - if launch/start Logos, Logos4.log file is overwritten - wipes out crash information

Forum is discussing desired features for Notes => http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30837.aspx - one reply included #1 desire: feature parity between PC and Mac - currently Logos 4 Mac lacking several useful features => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/30845/228725.aspx#228725

I am having the same exact problem. I am trying to get a sermon written for this weekend and it is driving me crazy! Other than that I love Logos, best software I've used for Bible study ever!

If crash repeats, please post logs before opening Logos 4 Mac. On 15 Mar, crash occurred at 14:18:07 (written to Logos4.log and Logos4_Crash.txt files). Then Logos 4 Mac was launched at 14:36:04, which wiped out crash information. in Logos4.log file.
From screen shot, wondering how to repeat crash using Notes ? (noticed cursor is in Outline note file)

Logos4.log file has crash Range or index out of bounds at 20:06:41.161 (zip file included crash report) later followed by some more error messages - noticed pattern of errors occurring after a line:
PanelViewModel | Got panel settings for Preferences: References=bible+esv.64.2.4|ResourceProvider=Single%7cResourceId%3dLLS:1.0.710|TargetIndex=1
Ending with crash while sync manager was downloading items (after uploading Notes changes). Wondering about Notes interaction with ESV ? (which is resource LLS:1.0.710)

I have been having the exact same problem but have not taken the time to troubleshoot and post my logs yet. It usually happens while I am in class and dont have the time to stop and get log files.

Idea: could add Logging folder shortcut to Finder. Forum has video example => http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx Joe Miller was a Forum MVP when he created the video (now a Logos employee).
After Logos 4 Mac crashes, open Finder, goto Logging Folder, create a new folder (e.g. Notes-Crash02), drag logos4,log , indexer.log, and any *crash* files to folder. Then open Logos 4 Mac to continue class use. After class, can compress "Notes-Crash02" folder and post for diagnosis (or email to Logos tech support).
After class, can try causing crash again, for posting along with steps to repeat crash.

Download LogosLogScribe which will create an archive of the log files in seconds and place the compressed file on your desktop. You can then post the logs on the forum after class.

I got a screen shot of the issue while it was happening, working with indents I tried to delete and indent by using backspace and Logos froze up on me. I had to force quit to get everything up and running again. Here is the shot and log.

Hass an actual employee from Logos been made aware of this issue? Just wondering since I haven't see anyone from Logos post here.

Noticed Logos4.log file is version 4.2a SR-3 (4.21.4.0945), which has a Stack trace (crash) preceded by many RichTextEditor messages. Also, Logos4_Crash.txt file has crash summary that goes with Logos4.log file.
Logos development should be interested in screen shot plus logs - Thanks for posting [8-|]
