Thanks! Btw, do you know if you can compile sermons in the personal book builder? Or will this be a later addition? When I tried it after the update, the closest option was "monograph". Seems like it would be a simple thing to have added a "sermon" option.

You could compile a sermon, or sermon series into a PB, though I haven't tried (my fork has been full of other things recently). But it wouldn't have all the options/features the Libronix Sermon File had (date, topic and passage indexes).
I'm sure that the sermon file add-in is coming, and I'm guessing that it will use much of the functionality of the PB Tool. Once that is established and stable (looks close, doesn't it), my further guess is that the added functionality/features of the Sermon File add-in will be added to the basic PB Tool engine.

Looking forward to that one! I remember it not being quite as efficient as I would have liked, but it was a nice product that made our sermons searchable.
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

Thank you, Richard! I've tried compiling a sermon file, but Logos crashes every time. I'll just wait until the standard update is available. I agree the sermon file add-in is going to come soon, and I think it will be worth waiting for it!

?
Are you compiling it from the Libronix file (LogosUsersermons.lbxlls) or an html source file? That won't work. The PB tool can only compile docx files.
If you are compiling from a docx file and it doesn't work, we may need to determine why.

Yes, I was compiling from a .docx file. After imputing all the info I wanted, selected the corresponding word file in my sermon folder, I clicked "build book". On the next screen it says, "converting" then "compiling". About a second after it indicates "compiling" the program closes.

Rather than continue here, we should probably start a new thread in the Beta forum. Call it "Bug: Compiling sermon crashes L4," or something like that.
Before you do, enable logging by carefully following all the instructions in the link below:
http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Then repeat the issue that caused the crash. Make sure to post all the log and txt files in that new thread for review, and post them before restarting Logos. Here are the Wiki instructions for how to upload logs: http://wiki.logos.com/Uploading_Logs

Go figure, I opened Logos 4 while holding down ctrl. It asked me to sign in, I did. Then I opened personal books, clicked on "add book" and, it worked! Tried it again with a second file, and it worked again! Worked with a third file too! It's all good now!
