missing resources

I am missing some resources. I know some of the ones that are missing (most of NICOT/NICNT), but others may be missing as well. I can see the book files on my computer, and I can access these particular ones through library.logos.com for example, but they're not showing up in my library. I'm not exactly sure when they went missing as I haven't tried to access them for couple months.
I ran several commands including Rebuild library index, and I deleted several of the .db files, which caused it to redownload all 7.1 GB of resources. But the library still only shows me 4 of the NIC volumes (Deut, Ezk, Matt, 1 Pet). And I'm worried about what else might be missing, that I'm not aware of...
Thanks for your help.
(I'm on the beta update channel, but I believe I'm running regular 4.3 right now - build no. (4.30.0.1517) )

Since downloading resources, may need to restart Logos 4 Mac many times.
Stable 4.3 SR-2 release 4.30.0.1553 has many bug fixes not in current 4.3 Beta (Release Candidate 3).
Wonder if program settings shows any hidden resources ?
By the way, anticipating Logos 4.5 Beta 1 within a month, possibly as soon as next week. Apologies: not know if bugginess of early 4.3 Beta's will repeat. Option: can use set update channel to stable command for Logos 4.3 SR-2 update.

Thanks for your help, Keep Smiling.
I've restarted Logos 5x and it still shows 1663 resources, and I don't see the missing NIC volumes.
I don't have any hidden resources in Logos preferences.
I noticed that the updated resources pane in the Logos home page shows that it downloaded 1,717 resources, which means I'm missing 54 of them. 36 of them would be NIC, which leaves another 18 I don't know about...
I'll try changing to the stable update channel and see what that does.

I don't think this is your issue, but just to be sure...
Is there ANYTHING in your search field in your library? For example, the single letter "a" takes my resources from 1646 to 1526. See screen shot.

Nope, nothing in the search field. Thanks, though.

If I owned the NIC series, I would be upset that they were missing too. That's only supposed to happen with loaned out dead tree books, right? [:)]
Hopefully Logos can get it fixed for you soon!

Thanks for the chuckle, alabama24! I'm hoping it will get straightened out soon, too.

May want to enable Mac Diagnostic Logging so can open Indexer.log file to see downloads and indexing status. For downloads, look for failed job(s); after blue logos icon disappears from menu bar, can close Logos 4 Mac and restart.
Apologies: not know how many restarts will be needed to download all resources, which is followed by one more restart to complete indexing.
Personally have 55 more files in Resources folder than my library count.

Well, I do have an issue with Logos syncing behind my proxy. It's able to download resources (all 7.1 GB of them yesterday), but syncing gives an error. Thus, I see this message in my Log a lot....

Here's what it says about the proxy...

Do i need to set the "System web proxy"? How do I do that?
(It doesn't really say MYPROXYSERVER, it has a different server there, I just changed it before posting it on the internet, same w/ USERNAME.)

Got off campus this evening and opened up Logos. No more connection errors in the log, but still no NIC or any other missing resources. I reopened it several times. It seems that the Logos Indexer app doesn't stick around very long when I open Logos (like 5 seconds), but I don't see any error message when it exits. Not sure if that's supposed to happen or not.

The indexing icon will generally appear for a few seconds every time you use Logos. It's probably just making up its mind if it needs to do anything. [:)]

Right, I know that's how it usually works. But if it is supposed to do something related to why Logos can't find my NIC series, it's not.

Did you call Logos yet?

No, sometimes they're on the forums, or someone on the forums knows the answer to the problem, so I tried this first. But I'll probably call tomorrow if I have time.

While off campus, wonder about update resources command ?

@Keep Smiling, I ran that (and a couple others). No updates were found.

After contacting Logos Support, and stil not solving the problem* (possibly due to the fact that I'm behind a proxy server), I was able to finally solve this problem by emptying my ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4 folder, deleting the .app from Applications, and reinstalling from the .dmg. Somehow it managed to keep all my preferences, documents, custom menu commands, layouts, etc. (Where are those stored? I thought they were in that Logos4 folder?)
So after a downloading 7.1 GB of resources and indexing overnight it was good to go. I went from 1663 resources to 1808 resources! w00t!
*I don't mean denigrate Logos' excellent support team. After describing my problem I was quickly transfered to a Level 2 tech, who spent a significant amount time working on the issue via remote login. He gave me some additional things to try when I got out from behind the proxy, and they probably would have solved the problem as well, but I went ahead opted for the above "nuclear option" instead, which didn't require getting off campus.

One question Andy...
Can I borrow a couple of commentaries? [:)]

Sure! As soon as Logos implements a lending feature like the Kindle... :P

By default, Logos 4 syncs your information to Logos servers so deleting local Logos 4 folder items can be restored (via sync) from Logos servers.

Glad to read resources are available [8-|] Thanks for sharing.
