Enabling PlanningCenterOnline.com Integration in Proclaim

Proclaim can now integrate with your PlanningCenterOnline.com account!

It is possible to seriously harm the working of your computer by altering the registry. It is always a good idea to export a copy of your registry before making any changes.

Planning Center Online integration is disabled by default for Beta testers. To enable this functionality on a particular Mac, use the terminal shell to enter:

defaults write com.logos.Proclaim "enablePlanningCenterIntegration" -bool YES

On Windows:

Add the registry key DWORD value HKCU\Software\Proclaim\EnablePlanningCenterIntegration and set to 1

Or rename the attached file to .reg and run it

2047.EnablePlanningCenter.txt

Can you clarify a little about the process here?

I attempted to add the key using regedit, but there does not appear to be a Proclaim entry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software. Do we need to create this entry from scratch?

I then attempted to create the .reg file as you suggested, but no matter what I do, I keep getting the error below. Any suggestions? (Note, I used both Notepad and Notepad++ to try creating the file, as well as several different encodings.)

The New presentation drop down will have an 'Import from planning center' link which you click to import your plan.

I have a couple questions about PlanningCenter integration:

1. Will we be able to import song lyrics along with the order of service in the future?

2. Will it be possible to choose to import the order of service into a given theme? Currently, if you don't like the theme that is automatically chosen on import, you have to change every background manually. This actually makes generating the service longer rather than shorter after importing.

I have similar request. I would like to be able to set font sizes and backgrounds globally for songs verses and content. It would also be nice to create and save your own themes based on those parameters. It is nice to have really awesome stock templates but I would like to have the added functionality of creating my own. Other than that I think its the best presentation software I have ever used. Great job guys! I used Proclaim in service today, flawless. Thanks Heaps!

If you create a service with customized backgrounds, fonts, etc., you can use it as a pseudo-theme by right clicking on it in the "Open" menu and duplicating the entire service. You can then just update the old service with new items.

Hi Scott,

We're currently using an older version of E*syW*rsh*p at our church, but we have moved to PlanningCenter for song repertoire, rota management etc. - so I read with interest about the PlanningCenter integration in Proclaim. We have a PA/AV upgrade coming, and a switch to Proclaim may be in order.

However... I don't like to use song words in the format they come directly from SongSelect, because the way they're capitalised and punctuated (sometimes even how they're spelt) doesn't suit us: we're in the UK (so UK English spellings) and have a value of making lyrics as readable as possible, meaning sentence-like capitalisation and punctuation. So... will the PlanningCenter integration allow us to bring across the song words that we have saved in PlanningCenter when we import a PlanningCenter schedule?

If so, that could be a real clincher for us: we'd be able to dump our nicely-formatted song words (song by song) from EasyWorship into PlanningCenter, from where they'd be neatly accessible in Proclaim.

We're currently looking into the best way to pull the lyrics from planning center. I expect this to be a supported feature.
