If i want to use the IOS app from my iPhone or iPad do I need Internet access or will it work with a wireless router signal?
I presume you are referring to the Proclaim controller app.
If so, we have been using an iPhone 4, an iPad 1 (3G) and an iPad 2 (3G) to control our presentations (for the sermon). Although all the devices are 3G enabled, we run the presentations using the churches wireless connection. Therefore, I can confirm that the Proclaim controller app will work via a wireless router signal. Moreover, this would be the preferable to a 3G connection as the wireless router should provide a faster and more reliable connection.
(In fact, thinking about it, I have never tried to run the controller via 3G and cannot, therefore, confirm where it works or is supported.)

Hi Kenny
While Andy is right that you can successfully use the Proclaim remote over a wireless router, it does need access to the Internet as the actual server with which it interacts is in the "Logos-cloud" not the local computer.
So, one way or the other, it needs Internet access.

OK, I think I understand now about internet and using the iPhone or iPad controller app.
I did find a work around - I have used the "Power Presenter" clicker for years and trued it out and works fine with proclaim. Its not as cool as the IOS apps but hey it works!
