Long-standing BUG: Library column positions are forgotten when the column is deselected
If I moved a library column to a different position from the default, and I uncheck it in the column-list to hide it temporarily, then it is moved back to the default position when I display it again by checking it in the column list.
This is especially a pain when the column is at the end by default because it can't be seen without scrolling and moving it requires several steps to get it back to the front.
Can this be fixed please?

This behavior was determined to be by design because it is the only way to return library columns to their default order. Please feel free to submit a UserVoice request regarding this issue.
