Bug: Text Comparison

When I search for 1 Peter 1:1–2 in all English bibles and expand the window into reading view. I notice that only a limited number of bible versions are available. Secondly the window vibrates, bible text appear and disappear at random.

This also happens when 'all versions' English bibles are selected, the window floated and expanded.

I am using a Windows 7 machine

    Hi Ted

I see the same problem with text comparison.

This may be the "occasional vibrating window problem" - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/62764.aspx - which should be fixed in 5.0b

I am not sure if Logos is aware of this so I will bump it again.

I can't recreate the problem - it works find for me. Have you checked the contents of the collection "English Bibles"?

Yes MJ. Graham can recreate the problem. Many thanks for checking though.

Interestingly I can no longer see this in 5.0b Beta 3 (which may be why MJ can't see it either)

I can't see anything in the Beta release notes which would account for this.

I'll post a question in the Beta notesfile and see if anything was done to fix this

I do not see any problem with Text Comparison of multiple Bibles in 5.0a SR4 (not on beta channel).

The screenshot doesn't illustrate true "Reading view" mode, but perhaps maximized? If so, I am unable to replicate with the steps that you are able to. I can replicate the behavior by maximizing the window and then clicking the maximize button to bring it back to the previous size. I'll check for a case and enter one if non exist.

Thanks Tommy for your response. I am getting the same result for both "Reading view" mode and when I float and maximise the floated window.

Great that this would be looked into.
