When we started trialling Proclaim people in our church loved it;
the Sunday morning church liked the fact it acted like Powerpoint,
the Sunday school liked the fact they could integrate the calendars and how easy adding images is,
and the evening youth ministry liked the fact it could play a wider variety of video formats.
They each had a group, and all the slides they made where in those.
And then the minister-in-charge took the decision to buy a license and it all changed.
1) When we're trying to put together a Sunday morning service Proclaim crashes every time we go to add a new background to Content - crash report attached - though when we reopen Proclaim the background has been uploaded. (doubt this is related to the payment, but it didn't happen before)
2) The license is paid by the main church, so some of the Sunday school have now had to join a new group to put the broadcast on air.
3) The youth services use a lot of video, which they sync with the cloud. This now means when we use Proclaim on Sunday it has to sync those as well as the files we actually need for that service.
Proclaim didn't use to crash every time, and this is the main issue.
Is there any actual information on Groups available? Between Logos, Proclaim, Faithlife, etc it is getting our congregation very confused. The license is for the whole Church, but groups have different needs. Is there any way to associate the license with a geographic location (needed for Signals) instead, so it can be used by different parties in one place?
