OT Quotes in NT: follow-up

Follow-up to faithlife discussion in OT Quotes in NT that is a follow-up to => OT Quotes in NT: My New Project
Dan Starcevich
Is there a way to create a visual filter that will highlight everywhere Paul either quotes or alludes to Isaiah?
Milford Charles Murray
Peace, Dan! I've been meditating on your post. Right now, for example, when I look at Romans 9:27 (re.Isaiah), Kevin's "star" pops up and I can click it. Do you mean that you would like part of the Isaiah quote by Paul to be actually coloured besides?
Dan Starcevich
Yes, that is what I had in mind,
Thanks!
Note file "Intertextuality: Verses" has NT verses by reference with content of note containing source of quotation.
NASB 1995 footnote a in Isaiah 52:5 has Ezek 36:20, 23; Rom 2:24 QUOTED text in Ro 2.24 is capitalized, but source text in Is 52.5 is not.
The NET Bible footnotes include "quotation from" and "allusion to" so can search:
"quotation from" OR "allusion to"
Working on "Intertextuality: Verses" update and creating "Intertextuality: Sources" while incorporating NET Bible footnotes.

Why would you not simply be looking it up in OTQANT?

Harmony resource shows verses in selected Bible for parallel viewing:
Notes can be used in many Bibles to show quotation and allusion indicators with pop-up to verse(s).

Philipps, H. David. Old Testament Quotes in the New Testament. Bellingham, WA: Logos Bible Software, 2009.
What a neat resource. Thanks for bringing my attention to it. I like that Logos lets me use my preferred Bible text with it.

Keep Smiling! *smile* Thanks for taking this "under your wing" and providing some good information and a great approach for us in this area! It dovetails very well with the great work Kevin has shared with us! *smile*
Your efforts will be appreciated and useful in many ways!

OTQNT is also a neat complementary resource. The first has the material organized by OT books (look up Isaiah and see all the passages quoted in the NT with references), the second by NT books (look up Romans and see all the passages it quotes from the OT). Both have their use.Josh said:Philipps, H. David. Old Testament Quotes in the New Testament. Bellingham, WA: Logos Bible Software, 2009.

Peace, Dear Friends! *smile*
Just this once more I'll mention the possibility of your downloading the file from Kevin Becker's FaithLife site that will "prompt" you when you are opening a Scripture to a passage quoted from the Old Testament into the New!
https://faithlife.com/ot-quotes-in-nt/documents
When that file is in your! Logos 5 documents, little stars (note indicators!) show up in your text. Actually incredible! *smile*
Perhaps someone else can share this information more lucidly than I because having this ability really opens up a lot of doors .. Is there someone who could share this info from his/her vantage point??? For those who might find this helpful, please .........

Peace, "Keep Smiling"!
I have been so incredibly grateful to Kevin Becker for a long, long time -- appreciating him - his Biblical Studies - and his "sharing" with us on these Logos Forums! And in the OT Quotes in NT Group which he created! So grateful! Thank you, Kevin!
Now! Thank you, "Keep Smiling," for building on Kevin's work! Kevin may have other work yet to share in the future. That's in his -- and God's Hands! But, it seems the focus is changing ............ So, right now, "Keep Smiling," in a couple of days I'm scheduling myself for a long look at your work and truly anticipating what you are sharing with us!
Again, thank you; and God Bless you richly! *smile* This is really important "stuff" !!! (In the positive sense, eh??!!)

Sorry for the dumb question, but I saw how it told me that my copy was outdated on the documents page from my laptop. I clicked as it told me to. When I check on Logos in Notes, the date next to the Intertextuality files still show last access date. How can I tell if I have the latest version, is there something to look for?

Peace, Don! I've been trying to reply; however, I've had trouble editing the software ...
Will try again ... if one is signed into Logos and if one goes to documents.logos.com
the latest documents are shown there ... for example .....

Hey, Don! You might be wise to ignore what I just shared .... *smile*
I'm no longer sure of my answer ..; the correct way of knowing might be through the FaithLife Group Pages under documents which doesn't seem to be working correctly for me at this moment ................... ........ which I shall try again much later today, eh??? *smile*

Updated "Intertextuality - Verses" and "Intertextuality - Sources" documents with a few more minor changes plus some screen shots so can check for latest version.
Sometimes had used & to separate verse entries:
Changed to ;
Added Mishnah link so hovering mouse over m. Vevamot has a pop-up
Noticed no space after ;
so added one
After creating link in a note, learned adding some letters did not inherit link.
For example, The NET Bible footnote 38 in Matthew 16:27 has:
sn An allusion to Pss 28:4; 62:12; cf. Prov 24:12.
Changing Pss to Psalms did not have hyperlink for alm addition.
