Where did all the backgrounds go? 1.20.0.0006

Hi,

I just got on Proclaim today (12/12) to update our worship presentation, and it began with it's software update it does from time to time. It now says it is version 1.20.0.0006

The problem is that now it seems I have lost the majority of the backgrounds I had before! There are a few new ones but only the sermon title, header, and sub title.

Where did they all go? Did Proclaim get rid of them so we would have to buy more from the store? Please help.

In coordination with the 1.20 release we did a little house cleaning in the Logos free media collection. The retired media was not functioning properly as smart media and made the app feel buggy. You will still be able to use (or reuse) items you've already created which reference the retired media, we just won't be showing it in the My Content section. We also added quite a few new themes and plan to add more in the near future.

The current themes focus mainly on song, Bible, content, sermon title, and header subheader. Which items do you feel are missing? (e.g. silence your cell phones, Facebook, etc.).

Many of the holiday backgrounds are gone (Christmas, father/mothers day, 4th of july, advent). Also, in the themes that do exist, I can't seem to find many with generic content slides for sermons or titles for other aspects of worship. Also There are almost no "Welcome" Slides.

Perhaps I simply can't find them?

Many of the holiday backgrounds are gone (Christmas, father/mothers day, 4th of july, advent).

We will focus on replacing holiday themes when they are relevant. For now we wanted wanted to spend our time getting a few high quality Christmas related packs out, before it's too late. We've even added a few (free) Christmas themed countdowns videos which you can find by adding a Video service item and are working on some motion loops.

All the Logos themes should have at least one of the following

Content (multiple paragraphs of text)
Sermon Title (content service item with captions for sermon title, subtitle, and Bible verse)
Header Subheader (content service item intended for generic usage)
Song
Bible

Try searching for 'content' or 'header' or 'sermon' to narrow the results by usage.

Also There are almost no "Welcome" Slides.

This is true. I expect we'll add some more in the near future.

Thanks for your help! We never experienced any bugs, and it's sad to see some of those themes go, but we look forward to the new stuff.

Also, what does the light bulb icon mean?

The light bulb is a "smart media" badge. Smart media is our first class media, intended to display your content beautifully without customization. The text fields have been styled by designers specifically for that background. Certain fields will auto populate with synced group preferences (e.g. church name, Facebook url, etc.). When you switch between smart media backgrounds with similar fields (e.g. Advent Header Subheader to Bethlehem Christmas Header Subheader) your data will seamlessly be preserved.
