Suggestion (?): Blank Title Slides, Cue Backgrounds at Specific Slides
(Forgive me if this has been suggested already. I'm fairly new to the "proclaim" side of the forums.)
It would be really great if we could get more control over when slide backgrounds are cued rather than having to use a background uniformly with every slide. My current issue is that I would like to have a blank (meaning black with no background) slide for the title slide and I am not finding a way to do that. Additionally, there are some backgrounds I have that are fine in small doses, but can almost be tacky if used for the entire song. Being able to cue the background at the chorus, and maybe kill it again at a certain point later in the song would be really helpful.
A related issue is having the ability to add a blank (black, no background) slide to the end of a song so as to make transitions a little smoother. At present, the only way I see being able to do this is by (a) manually clicking the "blank slide" quick screen or (b) adding a blank image slideshow. The former is too tedious and the latter adds way to much fluff to the presentation.
For reference, I know these features are part of ProPresenter. I think Proclaim's "cloud" focus provides a significant advantage over ProPresenter, but I covet its ability to afford more customization for the presentations.

First, thanks for the feedback and welcome to the Proclaim forums!

I don't have a great workaround for this other than dividing a single song into multiple song service items with different backgrounds.

You can use a custom verse labed "Blank" to represent a blank slide in combination with the custom order sequence. This will allow you intersperse blank slides where you choose and jump to them using the "B" hot key. For example
Verse 1
line one
line twoVerse 2
line one
line two[Blank]

This is not possible at the moment (as you seem to know) but if that changes, we will let you know.

An easier way to do this would be to use the hotkey to pull up the blank quick screen. On Mac it is CMD + B and on Windows it is F10. This should not be too tedious when a presentation is on air.
