[resolved] Bug: Reference Text box
In Logos 5 when I would click in the reference text box of my preferred Bible, the entire reference would be highlighted. In Logos 6, when I click in the box, nothing is highlighted and I have to delete everything before I can type in the new reference. Any way to get the old behavior back? Thanks!

I can reproduce the same issue. I think it is a BUG.
EDIT: Running Yosemite 10.10.1 on MBP Retina 15 Early 2013

I don't see this behaviour.
Are you running on Windows or Mac?
Are you running 6.0 or 6.0a?
(I am running 6.0a on Windows 8.1)

I reported this when Logos 6 was first released, but I can not find the thread. What I do is left click and drag to the left as a work around... not the best... Definitely needs to be fixed.

Thanks Bob.
Hopefully Faithlife will chime in to indicate this is on their todo list of bugs to squash (and soon).

Latest update did not fix this. I can't believe how something so small can be so frustrating. I'm hoping that Logos will chime in to indicate this is indeed a bug they are aware of.

There has been another thread discussing this, and apparently a triple click is required to select the entire reference. I'm guessing this is by design, in accordance with Apple Human Interface Guidelines, as mentioned in this thread.

I don't think it is by design because sometimes it works correctly and at other times the text is all highlighted for a fraction of a second and then becomes unhighlighted.

Latest update still did not fix this.

I don't believe this is by design, because it works in L6 for Win just like it did in L5, but on Mac it does not.

Actually, I am back to square one. It did work on Friday, but not today.
ALSO, I would like to request this to be applied to all input boxes, including ones for Factbook, Guides, etc.

Sorry for the delayed response. [:(] I know a developer was looking into this very recently, I'll follow up and check on the status of the case.
