I see a few more Forum regulars have grown stars under their avatars. I'm having trouble remembering who wasn't one before, but I know for sure these are new promotions:

I think there's one more new one, as I believe there were 12 before.

See the whole list here.

Congrats, guys!

UPDATE: Added Kevin, whom I'd mistakenly thought was already an MVP before. Goes to show you he's already been doing the work of an MVP and is well deserving of the recognition.

I think Kevin is the other newest one.

Welcome all of you to the MVP group Yes

Ahhh, what fond memories I have of my MVP days Wink

Now I get to meet users all over the Seattle (and soon Southern California) area and demonstrate the wonders of Logos.

Anyway, keep up the good work brothers and sisters!

Joe

Congrats Mark, Jack, Fred, and Alan.

Joe, I've been an MVP for about 4 months Big Smile That means Rosie was the last promotion before these fine folks (at least as my memory serves).

Well, there was 12 on May 17th per http://community.logos.com/forums/p/17156/129893.aspx#129893 so if Kevin has had a star for 4 mths, my counting does not work out.

But no matter; Welcome all and thanks for the great help and knowledge you all share so freely.

I'm wondering if the dog in one of those pictures is a hint at a new upcoming feature that might be in 4.0g given the likeness of the version number. A new "Fetch" rather than a Bible Search. I'll be interested to see how it works.

Maybe it finds stuff even if you don't know the search terms, spelling or much else, but it just smells right.

(I should get some sleep, and tomorrow, buy a new joke book.)

Don't forget Jacob Hantla, who was just added this morning.

Here's the list of new MVPs:

  1. Mark Barnes
  2. Jack Caviness
  3. Fred Chapman
  4. Dan DeVilder
  5. Jacob Hantla
  6. Alan MacGregor

Kevin was added back in February, followed in March by Rosie.

We might have one more coming. Mark Barnes has joined the ranks as well.

Thanks to all of you for your service to your fellow Logos users!

Thank you, Kevin.  I am a bit embarrassed by my addition as I think I need more help than I give it!  But thank you, to Logos, for being kind and honoring.

I like Apples.  Especially Honeycrisp.

Thanks to all. Some of us may feel guilty of diluting the MVP pool a bit. At least I do.

I'm glad there's one more that could be added. I hope she/he will accept.

Just so Kevin does not feel bad.. I knew he was an MVP for some time because he is always on the Mac side where I read his helpful posts all the time.  I threw his name in as "new" for Rosie since I was not sure how much she comes over to the forums over there. Wink

Don't worry Joe, I don't feel bad.

I'm actually much more active on the Windows side of the forum Cool. It takes an interesting Subject line to pull me over to the L4 Mac forum.

If the fetch feature in in 4.0g works like my dog does it will only find things you do not want and then chew them up.Surprise

Thanks to all. Each of those stars represent many hours of assistance that you have given to other users like me which is very gratefully appreciated.

God Bless

You will not dilute the pool. I considered replying to Phil's email that you are far more deserving of becoming a deputy than I am. That star is for Deputy Sheriff and not the North Korean Communist Party, isn't it?

Mark, if you dilute the pool, then I feel that I certainly do. I feel a relative newcomer to the forums, but (hey) I enjoy them - and I learn far more than I pass on.

Jack Caviness:

A fellow minister in the Church of Scotland made a similar comment to me:

Mike Binks:

Hay look everyone!

Alan's become a communist    Wink

tootle pip

Mike

But I knew that couldn't be the case, so I replied:

Alan Macgregor:

Since it was Made in the USA, I assumed it was just a deputy sheriff's badge, like in the good old days of The Lone Ranger, the Range Rider, and the Cisco Kid, when the world was black and white, and televisions were elegant items of furniture in french-polished mahogany boxes.

Anyway, I'm not long in after a lo-o-ong Presbytery meeting, so goodnight all (00.11 BST).

Every blessing

Alan
