The Beta was functioning perfectly for me until a few hours ago. I have never created handouts.

I did, download a new book, Center Church (Keller) and Logos ran the indexer. On subsequent startups, it crashed.

I am able to run Logos without syncing.

Thanks,

George

George - It looks like you will need to enable logging. Your logs are old, and don't include the most important one.

Sorry. Here are the new logs.

Additionally, I rebuilt the index overnight which has not resolved the crash.

I did find it interesting that there was a message during the indexing that the files were being indexed for the first time.

Thanks,
George

George - Do you open to the homepage or to a layout? Have you tried opening to a blank layout? Immediately upon starting Logos, press and hold the command key. This will bring up the log in screen. Check the box to open to a blank layout. See what happens.

I <kind of> know how to read log files. I saw some things relating to the homepage… There are a number of other users having issues with the homepage (including myself).

Are things up and running other than the homepage?

As long as things are working (with the exception of the homepage), I will rejoice with you! Hopefully Logos can fix this issue soon...

It looks like this issue is being experienced by several users.  I will pass your logs on to Development for investigation.

Yes. I am also experiencing the same problem. I hope they get this fixed soon. Then I can go back to a stable release and stay there.

Getting the same issue here.  Not planning on posting logs as it looks like it is a known issue.  Just wanted to add another user experiencing the same issues with the hopes a resolution will be released soon.

Thanks!

Jeff - Unless you know how to read logs and have done so with your own, how do you know that it is the same issue? Wink

FWIW - I <kind of> know how to read logs... (like my 1st grader can "read" a book). I thought I might have been experiencing a similar issue to other users, but after corresponding with a QA tech, it was found that I had discovered a completely unrelated bug.

There are many reasons the app can crash... your issue may be completely unrelated.

Good point...honestly, I have read so many instances of crashes re: B 3 that I assumed this was a version-wide issue Logos is working on.

I'll have to search the threads to refresh my memory on how to post my crash log.

Just was getting frustrated with the frequent crashes and didn't want to reinvent the wheel if this was already being fixed.  I'll post my log once I remember how to do that.

Thanks.
