[SOLVED] after download w/ "update resources" Noet 6.0b won't start preparing library

I can't update the software to 6.3 SR-1 right now. (Reason: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/105483/729981.aspx#729981)

EDIT 1:59 AM local time (4:49 PM PST): I DECIDED TO REBOOT ALSO BECAUSE OF WINDOWS UPDATE - NOW THE BOOKS HAVE BEEN ADDED!! Peculiarity: "Preparing library" -screen didn't show up even so books were added after reboot and starting Noet app. No software update needed.
Problem: "preparing library" doesn't start when I restart the app.
I bought just a few books this evening and the download keeps increasing slightly, I've been trying "update resources" multiple times (earlier on today this went well had to use "update resources" twice and I don't remember whether I went offline after that but I think I did, here's the latest:

Support note: I've recently been trying to set all my Faithlife installations with "set update channel to default". Software version: Noet 6.0b SR-2.
