I didn't know if FL would require me to sell them the same way and pay multiple transfer fees.
The transfer fee is per transaction, no matter how many separate resources are included. If you sell one resource—$25. If you sell 100 resources purchased at various times and in various bundles—$25.

I also purchased the NIVAC when it was on sale several months ago. It's my understanding that since they were purchased individually (40+ volumes @ 7.99 each) I could sell one of them if I wanted and keep the others. However, if I purchased them as a set, they would have to be sold as a set.

Jack, thank you very much for the confirmation/clarification.
Does anyone know if there is a "Contract/Policies" page where one can view this sort of information? Quite a while back, I read in the forum that a resource could only be sold/transferred one time, leaving the person who buys a previously owned resource with no option to sell it down the road. I asked a FL sales rep about that but the most he would commit to was to say he didn't think that was the case but couldn't say for sure. [:S]

https://www.logos.com/support/eula5 is the best place I know to get general information of this type.

That was a long thread! Bob's comment in it as at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/88357/622779.aspx#622779 - where he tries to explain why they have the policies they do and how they see them and try to engage with them.

The prices on on these bundles are ludicrous and ridiculously high. Seems like all thy are thinking of are $$$$$$$$$$$$$. I would never pay this prices for any bundles. End of story.
This is my feeling as well. I am not sure how many of us in ministry using these tools can afford $3000+, even with payment plans. It would seem that smaller bundles would be much more palatable.

Wow! The WBC deal is crazy... Like others have mentioned, I remember waiting for the as low as $399 sale price. Now saving $35 off the consistent Logos price is a hyped sale? Then the price is going to nearly double for what it has been for years... Amazing! No wonder there is so much question in regard to the character of Zondervan's ethical nature....

Same. Hopefully that will be fixed very soon. These 'bundles' in particular need that feature.
FL has already said that there is a second version of New to You set to come out with a series of products to be promoted "soon". Presumably these ones. September is coming. That's when the dynamic pricing will be applied.

It is not showing ANY sale discount for me.

If you're signed out, what price do you see? You should be getting the sale discount, same as everyone else (if you're not, please let us know!). The sale prices outside of dynamic pricing are:
$14,045.93 - Zondervan/TN Bundle (w/o sale, it would show you $14,785.19. Is this what you're seeing?)$8,074.67 - Zondervan Bundle (w/o sale $8,499.65)
$5,971.27 - Thomas Nelson Bundle (w/o sale $6,285.54)
$1,240.39 - Spanish bundle (w/o sale $1,305.67)
When you're signed in, you should be getting both your Dynamic Price plus the 5% off. The bug, which we are still in the process of fixing, is that the store doesn't distinguish between your dynamic price and the additional 5% (it just lumps them together and calls it a dynamic price).
If that's what you're waiting for, we've been hacking away at it, it's among our highest priorities. If you are seeing the non-sale prices listed above, let us know.

OK. That is what is happening.
So is the 5% sale price good through September?
Is the sale price good on individual items or only the all-inclusive bundles?

I am looking through the titles of both of these bundles and am wondering about why some of the resources are included. For instance, within the Zondervan Bundle, why would I want both the 4th edition and 5th edition of "A Survey of the New Testament"? Also, why would I want the three older versions of WBC commentaries Volume 19 (Psalms1-50), Volume 24 (Isaiah 1-33), and Volume 25 (Isaiah 34-66) when in the same bundle the revised edition of each of these three resources is already included? The three WBC titles add $134.85 SRP to the price of the bundle. In the case of the NT Survey, the older 4th edition adds $44.95 SRP to the bundled price.
Another example is that two editions (3rd and 4th) of "How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth". The 3rd edition adds $12.99 to the price. Another one I saw is "Grasping God’s Word" in which both the 2nd edition is included for $31.99 even though the 3rd edition is also included.
I am thinking these duplicates are in the new super-bundle because they are part of older smaller bundles and since the super-bundle includes all the other bundles, everything gets thrown in without any rationalization.
For me, this diminishes the value and certainly erodes the savings I might otherwise have realized if these 'redundant' resources were excluded from this super-bundle. From what I see, in the Zondervan super-bundle I will have $224.78 of resources that would be useless to me and I am thinking are not much use for most people.

You can add to the list the original edition of The Expositors Bible Commentary. I don't want to have to buy both sets to get a 5% savings. Keep the newer (revised edition) one and ditch the original. That's $365 taken off suggested retail.
I wonder how many people want the Abridged version of the older commentary when they are buying both sets or the newer one? I'd dump that, too. Another $56 off the suggested total price.

Wow! Count me in on this sale. The WBC is one of the absolute best values in commentaries, and I have a handful of missing volumes, updated volumes that I will snag. I am hoping there are some less expensive bundles.

I was wondering the same thing. I would guess the terms are being driven by the publisher, not Faithlife. Anyone on here know anyone at Zondervan or Thomas Nelson? If so, point them to this forum to see if some of the redundancy can be removed to lower costs. It's a long shot, but so was ever seeing dynamic pricing on WBC! For that matter, while you are at it, see if we can get some smaller, more affordable bundles carved out from within these massive ones!

We are investigating. It appears a fix that went out this afternoon is either incomplete or reverted. We are working on it.

Our announcement page for this Dynamic Pricing and Sale event is live. You will be able to pre-order the new large bundles we've created exclusively for this sale from this page. Because Dynamic Pricing won't be enabled until September 1, you won't see other collection prices on that page. Also, we only listed 25 Collections on this page. We will eventually include a link on this page to all the Zondervan / Thomas Nelson Collections.
This page is only intended to help announce the sale, sign up for reminder emails for the sale, and provide a way to add your favorite collections to your wish list. Note: you need to be signed in to your account to see the "add to wish list" buttons. Also, if you're already signed up for the Zondervan or Thomas Nelson email list, you will get an email about the sale.

I'm not seeing any dynamic pricing on Word Biblical Commentary.
I am logged in. The price is $699.95 USD. I own a WBC bundle, so I was just checking if there are any recent volumes that I can buy.

Will there be a academic discount along with the dynamic pricing of these collections?

Zondervan/Thomas Nelson products do not qualify for the academic discount program.

This sale would be extremely enticing if you extended the discount credit to more then just WBC. For example, instead of just limiting it to WBC extend it to all nelson and zondervan collections bought in the month of Sept.

Why is the dynamic price only good in September? So no long term agreement has been reached with Zondervan?
The price jump to $1200 is incomprehesible to me. Why not jump to $5,000 or $10,000? The sky is the limit for Logos overcharging Christians.
It's a little late to take back what I wrote. I was able to verify from a source that the Word Biblical Commentary will go up to $1199.99 on October 1st. My initial reaction was overblown. I apologize to Logos and anyone who may have found my comments offensive. In Christ!

That's why I got mine for $599.00. The only set I need to buy in the future is NICOT/NT. So far with WBC and NIVAC along with the others I have I'm well covered for sermon prep. Maybe NIB might make it to my library some day, but we'll see.

The NIB looks like a bargain compared to some of the new pricing over at Nelson/Zondervan.

I have a similar price, but I am not seeing my academic discount applied at all. And it was said upthread that Zondervan/Nelson do not have academic discounting.
Little to none of this sale will be approachable by those of us in full-time (aka unemployed) seminary study; it seems that we are outside of the target audience.

Full time student, full time pastor, and priced completely out of my reach at the present moment. I will check out the sales - BUT - I probably won't be able to afford anything especially since I just bought WBC a week or two ago.Virgil Buttram said:JoshInRI said:Will they finally lower this to something I can pay for please? Hi Josh, it probably doesn't help, but if it's any consolation I bought these books in Logos back in 2010 during a sale and I paid $355. It may be that $328.00 is the best price you'll see. (Although, sometimes you can get even better prices if you talk to a sales person.)
I personally love these books in Logos because of the images that are indexed and searchable.

So, is this bundle heavy on "emerging church" resources? I have only found a few obvious ones, but I know Zondervan has taken an interest in the movement lately.
