blog.noet.com doesn't update as a front page

Typically on a blog's front page the most recent posts go there automatically.  Not so on blog.noet.com.

Per the freebie friday thread I saw that it was (supposed to be) updated:

Don't forget this week's free book: https://blog.noet.com/2015/08/14/happy-freebie-friday-get-biographies-of-famous-greeks-and-romans-for-free/

However I noticed a curious problem.When I go to http://blog.noet.com I see last Friday's offering at the head of the stack: https://blog.noet.com/2015/08/07/its-freebie-friday-get-influential-english-essays-for-free/ 

This has cost me a few freebies in the past.  Noet isn't updating the main blog page correctly.   I chalked it up to my own mistake in the past, but now I'm seeing that the blog's front page isn't refreshing.

I just checked a few seconds ago, and now today's post appears on the blog's home page.  Either a setting was changed, or it finally updated on its own.  Either way, it is bizarre.
