Hi, I downloaded the Noet App (Android) and got 20 free resources, so far so good.  Big Smile

Then when I look on the Noet Site, I see that some of the books are not unlocked! Confused

The Books (Harvard Classics Vol 1-20) are available on my Android Tablet but 1,13 and 20 are not available on my Logos desktop. Hmm

Can any one explain this?

    From what I understand, the free books that come included with the app are not available to you on the desktop unless you purchase a license. An example of this is Iliad volume 1.

    All the mobile apps include free resources that are a feature of the mobile app itself; they're not unlocked permanently on your account (and thus usable on other devices).

    This set of free books depends on the app and may change over time.

    I'm curious to know why Noet Freebie (of a while ago), The Harvard Classics: Confessions of St. Augustine & The Imitation of Christ , vol. 7 is missing on the Noet Ipad app but loads on the Logos' app.

    Are you referring to the Logos Desktop program, or the Logos Bible app (known as Bible)?

    Oh, I just thought on this a little more. Was the The Harvard Classics: Confessions of St. Augustine & The Imitation of Christ , vol. 7 one of the Friday Freebies or is it a freebie that is normally included in the Noet app?

    It isn't the 'normally included" freebie - until recently I didn't realize there were any extras.

    To be specific, I can't view the Noet Freebie Friday book, The Harvard Classics: Confessions of St. Augustine & The Imitation of Christ , vol. 7 on the Noet app on my Ipad.

    It is available on the Logos Desktop program.

    All the other Noet Freebie Friday books and a few I've purchased are on the Noet app and available off-line.

    Hi Rob;

    I thought that I was responding to the original post. Sorry.

    Anyway, I checked out on both my desktop, and my android device, and can read on each. I'm not sure if your issue may be an account issue or a device (iPad) issue. We'll wait for someone with more experience on this to answer. I originally did not understand the licensing of the free mobile resources and had similar questions as to their access on the desktop, but your issue is different.
