Close all resources

Is there a way to close all resources easily?

For example, let's say I am studying an NT passage for sermon prep. I might have 10-15 resources open. Then I finish and want to do a study on something completely different, maybe a topic instead of a text. How can I close all teh resources to "start over"?

It is kind of a drag to have to individually "X" out every single resource.

This is a great suggestion.

I was wondering this too, and really don't know. At present, I have worked around it by saving a blank layout, labeled as "Blank". When I want everything closed, I just go to that layout. Works like a charm.

Create a blank layout, and save it as Blank. Load it to close all open resources.

to make it "new user friendly" all Logos would have to do would be to have a default layout called "close all and go home"

How can you tell which one of your "saved toolbar layouts" is the blank one WITHOUT wasting time hovering over each one?

PLEASE Logos...allow the option of "text labels" so I don't have to hover!!

for example: I have several saved searches that are common; "all bibles" or "Entire Library" or "English bibles" so I can just click and type...no picking of the right collection....

But the catch is that I can't tell them apart on the shortcut bar...they are all just the same hourglass icon...

In fact, you can even drag the completed command from the command bar drop down up to the shortcuts area.

I think I followed those steps: Name the "empty" one Blank (etc) and then drag it to the Shortcut bar.

But when I clicked on it I got my first crash.

Wow, I didn't realize that. The close all command is handy too.

Decided to try the create new layout.

Couldn't figure out how to do this. Looked in help and searched for "layout" and "new layout" and found no help. Finally I tried clicking the little pencil icon next to the top layout listed entitled "now" with a date/time. It lets you name it and then becomes one of the listed layouts.

This might be easier if you labeled the button or made a tooltip that pops up saying "Create New Layout" or something like this. At least put it in the help. Another solution would be a button somewhere that is labeled create new layout from current.

Kevin, in addition to what you have experienced, I then find the attempt to "drag" that renamed layout to the short-cut bar to be quite tricky. Although it "lights up" in a blue-ish color I still have to try a number of times before it will actually "drag" to the bar to be saved as (an almost impossible to read/see/comprehend) symbol.
