NT331 Romans - Bad Links?
There seem to be some bad links and extra links that are not needed.
As you can see from the screen shot, there are three separate links to three separate resources. My question is; What is that resources that shows as being locked? At first I thought it was an extra link to the first edition, but the LLS tag is different. Yet, I cannot find anything on the Logos sight.

The links are probably to the 1st edition of Encountering Romans. When the 2nd ed came out, Logos didn't update the links (although there were many requests in previous forums for them to do so). I thought I had read that they were going to provide links to the 1st and 2nd edition of the text so that people who had the 1st would not be required to buy the 2nd.

Then came the 2nd ed., which explains that there are three links.

so here we are in April 2020, and I am just getting rolling with Moo...or so I thought. I came here because of bad links. As already mentioned above, Encountering Romans is NOT working. I have the first edition, not sure why I can't link to it. As an aside I do not like how the suggested reading is shown and linked, it would be nice to have a heading/section or page numbers to be read. Also, though, I was not able to open up deSilva's Introduction to the NT section, though I own the resource and it is downloaded to the software. Anybody have insight? this is 4 years from the last post on this thread. I would hope links could have a longer lifespan. This will make reading for the course quite tedious.

I am not able to reproduce any problems with these links. I'm able to open each of the three different editions of Moo's Encountering Romans and deSilva's Introduction to the New Testament. Can you give me some examples of specific links that aren't working?

Miles, they are working now. I think the genesis of this problem was that I had only a partial download of logos. so the resources show up as "locked" even though I own them. Even after downloading I had to restart the resource window and then also the Book Study window. Now they work.
I would think developers could make it so:
1) resources that I own, even if not downloaded, don't show as "locked."
2) resources not downloaded could still be linked to from the suggested reading list, albeit open as a web resource (whether withing logos or the web app
3) that the app will make it more apparent that resources ARE being downloaded (currently I saw no indication...they eventually "just appear" but sometimes I am not sure if they are downloading or not, and I keep clicking on "download now.")
4. could the tabs refresh themselves so that a user does not have to close the resource and reopen it for it to function properly?
5. From the three links to the three versions of EBR you can see at first glance it's hard to tell that these are three different versions and which versions that they are. especially when they show up initially as locked.
