Odd Spacing In Text Of New Purchase From Vyrso
I recently purchased "American Protestants and the Debate over the Vietnam War: Evil was Loose in the World" from Vyrso and I find that the entire book has these odd spacing gaps. I've tried adjusting the page width, font size, etc. with no luck. I've tried using reading view as well as layout with no remedy there either. In my program settings the scaling is set at 100% and the default resource text size is also 100%. I'm running Logos 6 with latest update on a MS Windows 7 PC on a 25 inch wide screen monitor.. Grateful for any insight one might have on this issue. Hoping it's not the "nature of the beast" with Vyrso books and the way they are produced. Blessings.

Unfortunately, it is. I don't know if there is anything FL can do or not. The books are auto-converted from the publisher files.
FWIW - None of the settings have anything to do with this issue, which appears to be tabs or line breaks inserted into the text.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking along the same lines. It's troublesome but readable and at $49.49 it's about half the price of the Kindle edition. Have a great weekend.

I posted before I read your last post. No....I purchased it on the 16th and at that time it was only $49.49. I know that is still a high price but the subject rings close to me. I was in Vietnam from April 1968 to April 1969 and have some personal feelings about the subject covered in this book that is of interest to me.

Good price... I guess. [:)] I noticed a comment on Amazon about the book, which rings true to me: The author wanted to book to be "accessible to as many people as possible." At that price, it won't be! Here is the Vyrso link if other's are interested:

These are very odd and weird space gaps. I have seen little white blocks a number of times in books that Erin Land and the VYRSO TEAM have been able to rectify very quickly. But this is the first time that I have seen space gaps like this. This would be very annoying to me.
Maybe there is something VYRSO can do about this,and maybe not; but if it is a Publisher Issue; then they can reach out to the Publisher - and the decision will then be in the Publisher's hands.
I agree alabama24, this author will not sell many books at this price, if indeed any.

I have held off reading this text in the hope that there would be a quick resolution to the formatting problem. I see that the issue still persists and was wondering if you had any information about when or if this would be corrected? Rapidly approaching the end of the 30 day resource return grace period.
