In Segment 24 of this course, Dr Runge discusses Matthew 2:1-7 which includes Herod the Great's reaction to the visit of the Magi. However the first collateral reading assignment is an LBD article on Herod Antipas—his son. I realize that this can be a very confusing family, but this link needs to be changed.
