OK here's the latest:
I've dialogued with Dan Pritchett and he said that the Product and Licensing Teams are in middle of working to update the notes and are close to having an update ready. So I am not to post them. Dr. Constable's notes are generally updated annually, so I don't know how current they will be kept in a Logos format, but we'll see. As far as converting them yourself goes, using the PDFs and converting them to Word seems to result in the best formatting. I used Adobe Acrobat (not Reader) to convert them to Word and it did an excellent job. They could certainly also benefit from tagging or whatever it is called, but that would indeed take a extraordinary amount of time. I would imagine that the Logos version will be tagged with milestones, datatype links, resource links, etc., so it would be very superior to this process. All that being said, if anyone would like more info. about this, you can email me at marckdavis1 at gmail dot com.
On a related side note... any news from FL on updating their version of the notes?

Wow, Robert! Chrome still doesn't seem to find a button that works. It's visually there, just doesn't act like it's a hot link.If you don't mind sending it directly, I can be reached at <deleted>. Thanks for your trouble, either way.
Bill Stonebraker.

Well, I ran the macro after putting all the PDFs into a single folder & there were no errors, but the resulting files were gibberish. There was no readable info in the Word files or in the resulting PB. I'm wondering what I did wrong? It processed like it was definitely doing something.
Was there another macro I was also supposed to have enabled in Word?
Thanks for counsel, Robert!

Bill:
If it's acceptable to do so, send me 2 or 3 of the PDFs so I can see what's going on.

Well, I've not seen anything on Logos regarding a new version of these notes yet. I may ping Dan again, and see what he says. In the mean time, I've updated my Word documents to the 2017 version. Email me (marckdavis1 at gmail dot com) if you'd like any more info. on that. If I do get around to pinging Dan and I hear back, I'll post any relevant info. here again.

I did email Dan and he replied and said that he has contacted their team and that they have given this more priority, but also that he could not promise anything time-wise.

That is good news! Thanks for checking up on this Mark.

Nope, sorry, nothing new yet.
I just looked on Logos.com and they still only list the 2003 version. So the PBB route is still the best option I guess...

On another bent, I did some more research and found that MS Office 2016 can now simply "Open" the PDF version of Dr. Constable's notes. In doing that, you can then save them as a .DOCX file for importing with PBB. This method creates a better file than my prior method using Acrobat for the conversion. So much better, that I can use Word's automatic Table of Contents creator and get a TOC in the files as well. This may not be tagging, but it sure beats a flat PBB file! If you have Word 2016, I'd recommend using this method instead. If you don't have Word 2016 and are still interested in all of this, just email me (check the thread for my email address in a previous post).

Just FYI for those reading this on the forums, Dr .Constable's notes have been updated to 2019 versions now.

That is awesome! I didn't notice a difference on the product page. When did the update ship?

I still show Feb 5 2014 as last update (probably when I bought it).

I do not have that version, as it is extremely outdated. However, I do have Dr. Constable's 2020 notes in a Logos Personal Book, having used Logos' PBB (Personal Book Builder) to import them into my library. If you're interested in doing this too, just let me know.
