... when you get emails about Bob posting on tweeter ...
If it stresses you out, turn off email notifications or don't follow him!
Most of us probably couldn't successfully start or run a business. I suspect Bob is doing better than most.
If we consider the volume of complaints someone like Bob might get over a day or week or month, it's really amazing that he does still respond personally, when he has the time, and he apologizes when the response is delayed. For a CEO, that's probably exceptional.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

DAL,
You need to chill out my brother! you seemed to have lost your joy over getting a discount on a book of all things. The way I understand it, Bob has said that the prepub price will be protected for a limited time only. Otherwise why buy a prepub now, just wait until it goes on sale for a cheaper price. If too many people did that it would hurt the incentive that gets more books into production.
I like the current prepub system, and I don't want to put down good money and then find out in 6 months erveryone else can get the title cheaper. After all its the one's who support the prepub system that makes the title available to you in the first place.

I think you misread the comment. Seemed to me like it was saying the opposite

Stop whining!!! Those came out of prepub a long time ago. Geez, really? I hate it when people start whining like spoiled little brats about everything! "oh, how come they are getting it cheaper? Boo hoo 😭 Whiner!
I don't know if I need to point out the obvious DAL, but you seem to be the only one "whining" on this thread. Relax my friend! No one is requiring you to standby and read the posts. If it bothers you ... walk way and read a book. I'm sure you have plenty.

From what I can tell "the system" doesn't have a limit. It seems very selfish to me that a book should bel held captive because someone threw money at it early and no one can ever get it on sale ever again. What other business models work like that? Imagine you just joined Logos today and then find out there are X amount of books you cannot get on sale even when a publisher asks for them to be.

but when you get emails about Bob posting on tweeter you kind wonder where his priorities are.
Wow... I never thought I'd get called out for reading too much. :-)
I read blogs at night, and in other personal time. (On my iPad, while waiting in the car for my wife, at a store, in a doctor's office waiting room.)
When I see something I think others would find interesting, I hit a button (takes just a second!) and send it to Buffer App, which queues it up for tweeting during specific pre-set times during the day, when Buffer thinks tweets are more likely to be seen.
So I'm sorry if it appears I spend my day reading the Internet. It's not true. I spend 10 pm - midnight, roughly, reading a wide variety of things, and a 'robot' tweets the links I like during weekdays. When I'm busy working for you. :-)
Of course, I understand that you'd probably prefer I'm working 10-midnight too... and I sometimes do!

No, sir (although it is appreciated that you do what you have to do, as needed). I notice FL employees posting on the forum, after they've left the office, and I think that level of dedication to Logos and its customers is very remarkable.Bob Pritchett said:Of course, I understand that you'd probably prefer I'm working 10-midnight too... and I sometimes do!
I also noticed from the timestamps that you caught up with email, before posting here, so I thank you kindly for that!
Enjoy your evening!

These comments, and the ones you make in later posts in this thread, are not appropriate, or acceptable. They add nothing of value to this discussion, or to the forum over all. Name calling like this does not hurt your target, but it does reflect badly on you.
Please be civil, and extend to others the courtesy that has been extended to you.

Thank you, but you're a bit late.
Based on Bob's personal update, I believe nobody will be complaining about the prepub policy for a good while. I believe the focus has shifted to praying for Bob and his beloved wife. So I'll end the discussion there. Have a good night! 💤
