Another LONG OVERDUE book in Logos or at least Vyrso to start with...

(I don't know where to post these general book suggestions since they aren't denomination specific, and "Suggestions" doesn't seem to get listened to for years at a time, but I figure at least someone is reading the Vyrso ebooks forum and will pass them along to the right department).

This book is exceedingly important, and I cannot believe Logos still doesn't have it after it's been suggested several times before (here, here, here, here, here, here, and no doubt sent in to suggest@logos.com multiple times as that's often been proposed as the best way to get suggestions into the pipeline):

Exclusion & Embrace: A Theological Exploration of Identity, Otherness, and Reconciliation by Miroslav Volf (Abingdon, 2010)

It was selected as among the 100 best religious books of the 20th Century by Christianity Today (and was ranked #7 of that list by GoodReads readers). And it won the 2002 Louisville Grawemeyer Award in Religion.

There are 536 hits on it in my library, of other books and articles that reference it.

I believe FL should address the how-deep-is-the-well-syndrome:  We request something + hear nothing back.........................................Then what?

Maybe FL is assiduously working on it.  But, we hear nothing.

Maybe FL is sorta kinda working on it.  But, we hear nothing.

Maybe FL is doing nothing re this issue.  So, we hear nothing.

Maybe a book supplier said, ''no.''  But, we hear nothing.

Feedback fills the void.  Some of these forums' frustrations would be diminished of FL got back to us yes, no or maybe on these requests.

Good grief, FL, a request is a person sitting there ready to spend.  With you.  May I respectfully say that I can feel the frustration in Rosie's post?

And, FL, can you feel the anger in mine??

When will the penny hit the bottom of the wishing well??  When will you get it??

Also, how about getting Abingdon to have its own Faithlife publisher page, like other publishers you have relationships with do (Fortress, Wipf and Stock)? That way we could post directly to their page there and petition for them to work with you to get their books into Logos format. Clearly, you have a relationship with Abingdon.

[Y] An important book to have in Logos.
