Church Mobile Ed Subscription and Logos Bible App

Hi,

I'm not sure what forum to post this in, so I thought I'd do it here ;)

My church now has a church subscription to FaithLifeTV and the Mobile Ed courses. I think this is wonderful. However, I notice in the Logos Bible App, I only get access to the courses I've paid for rather than the ones I have access to via our subscription. I notice in my Desktop app I can access all the courses...as I can on the FaithLifeTV mobile app.

Is there anyway for FaithLife to allow access to the courses (via the subscription) in the Logos Bible app? I'm trying to find ways to make things easier for my congregation...so they can access the courses and bible resources in one app.

Thanks!

Peace - David.

The Church Deal (https://churchdeal.faithlifesites.com/ -- the best deal we've ever offered! :-) ) comes with streaming access to the video of the courses, but not the transcripts and reading lists, etc. So right now you can only access those course videos via the streaming platforms (https://faithlifetv.com, iPhone/iPad, Roku, Apple TV, etc.) and not inside the desktop software.

Yes, I believe it is quite the deal and why we, as a church, decided to get it even while being unsure of how the folks in the congregation will use it. I'm hoping it will lead to more engagement with Scripture.

I understand that the transcripts and reading lists are not included (which is why I also purchased a course I was interested in...even though getting the video through the subscription), but feel having the videos available in the mobile app (and Desktop app) would be helpful. Right now I am working on ways to utilize the groups and discussions in FaithLife Groups to, hopefully, facilitate discussion. I think the Logos Mobile Ed Courses can be game changers for some folks who cannot afford the time or money to go to seminary to get some training. Thanks!

    Peace - David.

You can watch the videos on a mobile device with the Faithlife TV app, for iOS and Android. Just not inside the text-based Bible apps, with this subscription.

  • You coud try watching them with the faithlife bible study app instead but you would need to post them there first. That way people would be able to comment on them using the Bible text and features which accompany this app?
