Rice Haggard: AN ADDRESS TO THE Different Religious Societies ON THE SACRED IMPORT OF THE Christian
Another in the series of Stone-Campbell resources I have put up here. Even if no one but me is very interested in them, I create them for my own use, so figure I should share because I have been so blessed by the work of others on this forum.

Please note that the original cover published on this post had a misspelling on it. I have corrected it.

Interesting. I was just reading my fathers explanation of the discovery of this document and its publishing as one of the Footnotes to Disciple History Number 4 published by the Disciples of Christ Historical Society in 1954. A good read.

Calvin,
I, for one, love that you are bringing awareness of the Stone-Campbell Movement and its resources to us. Keep up the good work.
FYI, just before I left Faithlife in August 2015, I tried to get them interested in a Restoration Movement base package. Unfortunately, I left too soon after I brought it up to really get the discussion going.
Blessings

I agree with you about this. Thanks.

Thanks a lot, Calvin. And I am sure, quite a number of users here are interested in the books you share - a treasure chest, taken together.
Have joy in the Lord!

Thanks so much for the post. I am visually impaired and REALLY APPRECIATE that you can highlight the words in the PDF, because—by doing that—my computer can read them to me.
I was wondering if you would happen to have any of the following as well/
Thomas Campbell - declaration and address
the name christian by donald nash.
Thanks for all of your help.

I am glad that that resource is one that you are able to access audibly. It is actually a .docx format and not a .pdf as you said. I posted the Declaration and Address back in 2011 (Really?? It's been THAT long??? Wow.) https://community.logos.com/forums/p/37781/282947.aspx#282947
If you cannot get it to work let me know and I can upload the file again.
As for Donald Nash, I do not have that resource (and can't find it online) and since he is much more recent than Thomas Campbell or Rice Haggard, (Nash died in 2009) I am positive that any of his material is still under copyright protection and could not legally (or ethically) be posted in a forum such as this.
Sorry, I wish I could be of more help to you with the Nash resource, but it is not one with which I am familiar.
All the best to you,
Cal H
