"An upgrade is required...To continue using Noet Software, upgrade to version 7.8 SR-1 or later"
Hey all. As you see from the header, Noet is telling me to upgrade. This message appears after installing the program and typing in my account credentials. I used the install file downloaded directly from the Noet website.
It tells me to visit https://noet.com/account/orders to get the new version. The only problem is, there's no version 7.8 there...
Any help is welcome. If I'm missing something obvious, I'd be grateful if you could point it out.

Gordon, where did you find Noet.exe, I assume for PC?
My impression is Noet on the PC died last year. Francesca appears to have finished her Masters (Noet blog).
Of course the Noet app is still around: I use it.

I had not heard of the desktop app going the way of Libby, but when it comes to FL I don't NOET all.
No Offence to NOET but I wouldn't put it in the 'Classic' class like Libby just yet, neglected maybe more appropriate.

Yes, I found the pointer to the Noet loader.
Just not sure the related .exe and date.
I'm not a Noet'r but I wish they wouldn't start what they're unwilling to support, leaving a trail of maintain-in-place (mobiles a good example).

I'm actually using the app on a Mac. Sorry for not specifying.
I wasn't aware the app was essentially neglected at this point. I usually use Logos in fact, but thought I'd give Noet a spin, out of curiosity mostly.

Curious about"Libby" - our local library has just started to use an app named Libby to provide access to e-books. Is there any connection here?

Okay, I used Libonix back in the day, just never heard it called Libby. And then with OverDrive developing Libby for library e-books, I thought there might be a connection. Guess not. Thanks for the quick response.
