NEW: NT332 A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary on Paul’s Letter to the Romans
Our latest course available for pre-order is NT332 A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary on Paul’s Letter to the Romans by Ben Witherington III:
Paul’s Letter to the Romans has been one of the most commented on, debated, and discussed New Testament writings since before the Protestant Reformation. In this course, Dr. Ben Witherington III provides a socio-rhetorical analysis of this important letter. He examines the social setting of Paul’s writing, exploring the culture of first-century Rome. Dr. Witherington also examines the rhetoric—the art of persuasion—Paul employs. He looks at the flow of the arguments Paul uses to reveal the letter’s themes of the righteousness of God and the reconciliation of humanity—Jew and Gentile—in Christ.

I'm tempted but I've already got Witherington's socio-rhetorical commentary on Romans and Douglas Moo's Mobile Ed. course on Romans.
If this new product was offered on Community Pricing rather than Pre-Pub then I think we might well have the most popular CP ever.
Witherington's great. I'm sure that those who get this course will find it very helpful.

I agree... If on CP I would have grabbed this. I wonder why some don't go to CP and some do

Ditto! I really like Ben's work and would have a much better chance of affording it on CP, but the pre-pub prices are still just too high for me.Mattillo said:I agree... If on CP I would have grabbed this. I wonder why some don't go to CP and some do

CP is nice, but Logos will take 3 years to complete it. [:#]
I would rather hope that Logos would include this in the Mobile Ed Subscription one day.

Hi, Mike! I certainly can't speak to the production schedule Faithlife would place on any specific course, but I've had the good fortune of picking up a few ME courses on CP and haven't had anything near a 3 year wait. In fact, once they decide to offer a course, I can't think of any reason a 3 year delay would be of any benefit to them. From what I've seen, when Faithlife has enough bids to cover the cost of production, they're pretty good about moving into the production stage, so to me, everything about offering ME courses on CP is a win-win. And if a CP course offering doesn't get the bids needed to move it to production, Faithlife can move it to pre-pub any time they choose.mike said:CP is nice, but Logos will take 3 years to complete it.

So "Thank you!" Faithlife for every ME CP offering you've made so far. I hope we see many more. [:)]

Hear hear! It's much easier to afford ME CP at $80, and far less likely I'd have to cancel that $80 Pre-Pub (compared to a $230 Pre-Pub), when many courses ship at the same time.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!
