Thank you

    Hello Danny,

Unfortunately  this isn't something that is supported currently.  You could always make a post here, https://community.logos.com/forums/28.aspx , or check out this page https://suggestbooks.uservoice.com/ , and see if getting the Romanian Bible added through Logos might be a possibility.

Well, in this case will we have to find another alternative to a presentation software.

I understand it's an important feature for you, and sorry it's not currently available in your language.  Because the On-Screen Bible and Bible features are cloud based, it's something that needs to exist on our servers rather than locally on a users machine.  Hopefully we can accommodate you better down the road,  foreign language support is an area we would like to improve upon.

Well, would not be that hard to add it, would it be ?. I always think its politics behind actual work.

It's more so a matter of licensing and permission.  It's why in the book suggestions page, they inquire about the publisher and copyright dates.  Most books aren't free to re-distribute and have copyrights, even including some Bible translations.  Those themselves may also vary by country.

  • Hi. Bumping this discussion here 2 years later. We just set up Proclaim at our church in Fullerton, California. We have a Romanian fellowship that uses a side room and will use our main auditorium for a Romanian conference. They would love to have the Bible in Romanian that they can display on the screen during services for their conference. From posts on the Logos forum I see Romanian believers asking for Romanian to be added as a bible at all on Logos!

Question - since there are always public domain versions of Bibles in most langauges (often older translations) is it possible to bring in a text version of a public domain bible if it is marked up properly?

I know it is clunky and a deal more work but Bible Gateway seems to have a free version from which you could copy and paste into a content slide.

I have been serving here in Romania for 24 years. I have wanted and have asked for the Romanian Bible (VDCC and NTR) to be available in Logos, but to no avail. Perhaps now is the time?? There are many other languages available, but why not Romanian?

Or is there a way to import these Bibles into Logos as a personal book?

Yes, there are free versions and programs to use to present the Romanian Bible, but I want something in Logos itself. This will benefit me as the notes and search capabilities would be much better than with these free software versions like YouVersion.

Can anyone in Logos cooperation comment on this?
