Laundry list of Outstanding Requests

In your efforts to add new cutting edge features, it seems like some simple tweaks that would improve the quality of life are being overlooked.
Some of these requests were made years ago.
I realize my list is different from everyone else's and I may be over-simplifying what it might take to accomplish them, but here is my list.

I'm about to start working on some date formatting improvements. You will be able to pick an event date render style from a list of formats.

Adding support for showing the current date time is more complicated. It introduces issues with cached slides and server side rendering. This is something that can be solved easily using web media in the future.

We talked about these and came up with some initial designs but they just haven't gotten to the top of our priority list yet.

However if I was in Beaver Creek the date would be Sunday 15th April 2018 which would probably jar with the folk of Beaver Creek but go down well with the visitors from Corby.

I guess it is a cultural thing.

Actually, if you were IN Beaver Creek whether it be April 15th or 15th April you would be wet and chilly(except this year where we're expecting temperatures in the 80's F or 30's C) or being baptised. BCBC is in Rimrock, Arizona on Beaver Creek Road a few yards(meters) from Wet Beaver Creek, as opposed to Dry Beaver Creek a few miles(kilometers) west. (No cracks allowed about Wet Beavers compared to Dry.)

We named it Beaver Creek Baptist Church instead of Rimrock Baptist Church because a stream that flows year 'round in Arizona is much more noteworthy than a cluster of dusty adobe houses surrounding a post office and a mini-mart.
