Actually, after some time it finally started but played a commercial which will not work for us, but did nothing else.
You have to assume that embedding a YouTube video might include ads. Proclaim can't block them. If that's not acceptable, downloading/uploading is the only option (assuming you have a licence/permission to do that).
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!
Hey Bob,
I think you are right with the download option, but I haven't seen any ads or anything when using a Youtube video, but VEVO could be different. Unfortunately you said Youtube wasn't a route for this video.
Note: That screenshot was for Vimeo, but thought it could have the same affect with VEVO videos.
Hey Bob,
I have seen this before and usually means certain videos have some sort of domain-level whitelist or blacklist applied to them. Usually done by the content owner.
This blog post might help with some questions or information regarding it: https://youtube-eng.googleblog.com/2011/12/understanding-playback-restrictions_28.html
More just for your personal use or information you may seek.
Long story short, downloading the video is your best bet : )
