NT Wright Lectionary: Twelve Months of Sundays

NT Wright has produced three volumes on reflections on the Sunday readings, titled "Twelve Months of Sundays". Currently they are not tagged with lectionary dates in Logos, though. To rectify this situation, I made a PB source for current church year B which gives the readings and a link to NT Wright's reflections. Compile as a PB of type lectionary to make it work.

3683.Twelve Months of Sundays Lectionary.docx

This PB will work without owning the book if you want to follow the readings of the Church of England (which are often the same as the RCL, but not always), but of course it makes more sense if you can follow the links. I simply used the resource picture from the Logos product site.

The lectionary will work on the home page with the usual functionality, such as verse preview and calendar picker:

And it will have the usual lectionary features, such as choosing any translation in the lectionary resource, selecting dates etc.

This PB source can be modified to link alternative or additional reflections on the lectionary - and someday I intend to update it with years C and A (but we're good now until November).

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

Thanks for this, I forgot about this resource, remember wanting to read it as lectionary but it is not tagged. This is great [Y]

Just noticed the end part about being year B, I will probably update it myself aftering enquiring if Logos are still going to tag it as per https://community.logos.com/forums/t/170432.aspx

How can I, on my own, update this to year C and A?

I never got around to this, may have a look later in week, and will share if I do complete it.

The way I would go about it is to start with a blank excel sheet and start pasting in the relevant readings, Logos fields  and joining text etc in seperate columns as required, I would then use the concatenate function to build the correct output for word, which after pasting into a word docx would hopefully result in something comparable to the docx in the first post above.

I would look to get the readings for this year from either by exporting Twelve Months of Sundays book / Sunday lectionary, or something online, (I have not looked).

Linking to the Twelve Month book would be easy as each Sunday is 2 pages later in the book, you can see this in the docx linked above. (

[[N.T. Wright’s reflections >> logosres:12mosunb;ref=Page.p_2]]) etc, so you could just increment this page in the excel document.

I am sure there are much better ways with different abilities, but this would work for me quickest I would think.
