More people can afford this important production, if FL could provide bid points at $: 60  70  80  90.

Please provide such soonest.  Thank you.

It's true that the course would be much more affordable for more people at $60 rather than $150 or $100.

But it would be premature to lower the minimum before $100 becomes the current price.

Right now, people have two choices: $100 or $150. We don't want to give them three choices ($60, $100, or $150) because that would sabotage $100 from becoming the new current price. (Why? Because people would change their bid from $100 to $60, dropping the $100 peak even lower than the $150 peak.)

The course would then cross the line at $150 instead of $100, making it ultimately less affordable for people.

We should first work together to drop the current price to $100, please, before FL lowers the minimum. Otherwise, we'll be shooting ourselves in the foot.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

PetahChristian: Ok.  Your way is the correct way; I now understand from your writings today.

I think FL has all this down to a science, and knows when to add a new minimum, but it never hurts to ask!

Of course, I could be wrong about everything, scooter! [:P] I should have prefaced everything with, "In my opinion, ..."

Naturally, I'm hoping that the course finally goes for $60 instead of $100 or $150.

PC, your logic on the other thread, in the reply you posted today, hit home.  But, on me, it did not hit home completely till this post here.

As well, I may have jumped the gun because, here, we are dealing with a company.  In doing such, I worry that no one is watching the kettle to see when it boils, as I have no way of seeing the goings-on.  And so, I believe what I see has happened, when dealing with corporations...….What if their person for this is on hols?  Easily July possible!!

Or, you could buy Waltke's Old Testament Theology audio course (nearly 25 hours, as opposed to only 16), for about $78 Canadian (about $60 US) from Regent Audio, and it's available to download right now, you don't have to wait for Faithlife to get enough bids for it... Just sayin'. And I know the policy, so I won't provide the link, but you can easily google it yourself. He's taught it multiple times so there are various versions available from Regent, but I'm talking about the 2002 version, which is probably the most comprehensive.

Yes, it's not identical to the video version Faithlife is producing. But if you can't wait or don't want to spend that much...
