Both topics interest me, but i've not been exposed to either of the teachers for these courses. I've taken NT221 Wisdom of John by Ben Witherington and also, BI100 Learn to study the Bible by Darrell Bock and enjoyed and profited much from both courses. I like getting deep into a topic or passage as opposed to overviews and introductory classes. I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has taken either or both of these courses, as i try and choose between them for my free Logos 8 course.

That's a tough one, John.  But here are my thoughts.

I do have NT362 and found it very useful and interesting.  I definitely recommend it based on your comment about liking to go deep into a topic or passage.  DeSilva does a great job (in my opinion) of illuminating the text using various aspects of cultural background information that he does a great job of explaining.

I don't have BI301, but it does sound interesting and considering that Perrin takes nine full hours on this one topic, I would surely think he must take students fairly deep into the topic.

I guess one of my considerations would be whether or not I think I'd eventually like to have both courses.  If the answer is "yes", I'd go with the more expensive course on Hebrews as my free course, then buy the less expensive one at a later time.  But I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
