Unable to distribute book to your country (Canada)
Here is the book I was trying to buy https://ebooks.faithlife.com/product/127142/good-leaders-ask-great-questions-your-foundation-for-successful-leadership
Any idea if this will be changed?

The link given states that: He can be followed at Twitter.com/JohnCMaxwell. For more information about him visit JohnMaxwell.com.
If faithlife will not give you an answer try asking him directly - He might not know that you can not buy it or maybe you can get him to ask his publisher.

Not likely the author can influence this but OP can try if he wants. This is about publisher distribution rights.

It would depend on the contract with the publisher [for example did they give away rights to use that publisher so that the publisher has more control than the author]
Or maybe that publisher only obtained limited [non worldwide] rights from the author. [I don't know but at some time one of them could have gotten worldwide rights]

Actually, if a sufficient amount of authors nudges the publisher, it could be entirely possible that they eventually give in.
The publishers should actually be happy about every customer who doesn't buy on Amazon, as they have been deliberately driving down ebook prices for years now. But ironically, Amazon seems now to be the only option to buy these books as a non-US based customer.

Recognize the big A is not your fav. And yes, in-between books, Spotify, and movie delivery, the pressure has not favored the artists (instead the customers happily ignoring the problem).
But more recently, at least for me, Kindle has been rough going. Fiction is similar to paperback, and more serious is running $50-80, meriting some serious teeth-grinding. Nothing like the Logos 50% off collections!

You can read an explanation on the publisher restrictions here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/177623.aspx?PageIndex=3
Center Street is part of Hatchette so that's what would apply here. Perhaps if enough authors complained then things would change. Apparently Hatchette will be easier to satisfy that Harper Collins who have made it virtually impossible for Logos to sell worldwide. Do Christian authors really want to restrict their books to certain markets?

Hachette, of all publishers, should be very interested to get as many customers as possible away from Amz/Kindle...

Yes, ebook prices are going UP. But we can refuse to pay!

The question is, how much do the authors and publishers see of that money? Authors have been quite underpaid, and I'd happily pay a price that makes sure that they also can feed their families.
But if the price difference goes solely to the vendor (especially the monopolistic one), then I agree, refuse to pay.
