References I wished I could point to when answering a forum question
There are three books by Gary Michuta that I wished I could have pointed to when answering a forum question today. Okay, they aren't the best academically on the subject but they hit a nice middle point in the Logos forum community.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

They all look good. Which would be your first recommendation?

Probably Why the Catholic Bibles are Bigger but then I'm a bit of a canon junkie. Behind the Bible is certainly more fun.
