FireTV Digital Signage App crashing and very slow

So whenever we go live from our Proclaim software and it kicks our digital signage tv's over to the live presentation we can rarely make it through the service without the digital signage app crashing and going back to the main firetv screen. Also we are experiencing a 4-5 second delay between slide changes which is very annoying for people watching those screens. We are attempting to use these screens as screens in the back of the sanctuary so worship leaders and our minister can make sure the congregation is seeing what they are expecting them to see.

Sorry we didn't reply to your other post. We are currently looking into these reports. We believe it might be do to memory consumption and the FireTV is extra susceptible as it has very low RAM.
As for the delay, 5 seconds sounds like a lot. Currently, I’d expect it to be about a 1 second delay. Although what you are experiencing sounds worse than expected, I dont think this is the best option for your use case. Using Proclaim’s confidence monitor feature and running a cable to the TV’s would give you a true representation of what was up on the screens.

Obviously it might not be the best option but we really didn't want to run a cable to each tv so this is really the best option for us. If the delay was only 1 second that would be acceptable but it's far more than 1 second even with very basic slides (text only with solid color background). If we could get these things to stop crashing and get the delay down to 1 second or less I think they would work fine for our purpose but they certainly don't get that kind of performance in our testing.

Has there been a fixed issued for this concern? We have 8 firesticks running Faithlife and 7 out of 8 of them the software shuts down.

I would guess not. We gave up and ran wires to our displays because the digital signage app simply was unreliable.

Can you help me understand. We also run the Signage on a TV outside the sanctuary, but have a little different hardware, OS setup. When you (any of the posters) mention the Digital Signage App on FireStick--is there an app apart from a web browser? We have some TV's with built-in ROKU, but our Signage TV is running a stick PC running Win10.

Ran wires? What/where did you run the wires from?

Yes, there is an app in the Amazon app store for Faithlife Digital Signage. From the firestick, search for 'faithlife' and you will find the app. Blessings.

Thanks Eric! I was unaware of this.

Hey Nathan,
Let me investigate with my team and see if there is an update on this.0 -
I cannot tell if it is the app or the firestick at this point. I have tried to run the media through Silk, Firefox, and the Digital Signage app, and they all have crashed. No apparent time frame. Sometimes, an hour, other times, 8 hours. I am at a loss.
