How is the term "hours" defined when referring to courses?

When a course says that it is 2 "hours" or 6 "hours" - is that the amount of video that is in the course? The time expected to complete the course? Or is it an estimate of credit hours of the course?

    Total amount of video.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

The videos are ok. Sometimes I listen. Sometimes I just read them. My greater interest is the curation–which tends to be about eight for what I want from these courses. I read most of the curated readings and sometimes additional material. I run roughly 3 hours of study in addition to the video.  Every course and every part of a course are different.
