sorting error by price

I was searching mobileEd courses to find my free course. At first, I just did a search of all the courses and sorted them by price (highest first). that worked fine. Then I decided to narrow it down to a few authors, and then sort again by price.  As you can see, it seemed to do the opposite of the selection:

I like Apples.  Especially Honeycrisp.
