After the large recent download the indexer crashes whenever I open the program. I can use the program for about 5-10 minutes - then the program shuts down with an error message. (my computer runs windows XP)
Any suggestions what to do?
You will need to enable diagnostic logging, restart Logos 4 and after another crash zip the log files which you'll find under your My Documents folder and attach them to another forum message (use the paper clip icon in the message creation header to do this).

Logos indexer is also crashing on me. Here are the log files in case someone can help.
Thanks!

From the crash with 4.0c and now 4.0d you need to rebuild your indexes. Use Control Panel | Folder Options to view Hidden files and folders.
Delete the folder C:\Documents and Settings\User\Configuración local\Datos de programa\Logos4\Data\hjhp2kna.exh\LibraryIndex\
Delete the folder C:\Documents and Settings\User\Configuración local\Datos de programa\Logos4\Data\hjhp2kna.exh\BibleIndex\
Start L4.
This will take a long while so start at a convenient time.
Thank you. Here are my log files

The likely error is a corrupt Index, but I'm not sure which one!
Have you indexed successfully since updating to 4.0d?
Did the large download complete? Did it start a second round of indexing or did you get the download at the same time as the update to 4.0d?
I suggest the following:-
The Bible Index could take a couple of hours or so but it may crash. It may go on to the larger Library Index and still crash, but we should have information from the various logs.
If you want to wait for Monday and get the developer's recommendation then just answer my questions.
No, the index error started right after the download. It downloaded, restarted - and started to index, then crashed 2 minutes after starting to index. So everything (I believe) is downloaded, but it hasn't indexed since the download.
I can use the program though - at least for at few minutes after the index crash. When it crashes my computer freezes for about 10 minutes.

Then just do what I suggested with the Bible Index as it is trying to index.
Dave,
Thank you for your help. Rebuilding indexes right now...
Yes, thank you! It also seems that mine works OK now.
