Question: How to Prioritize BDAG/HALOT over TDNT and DBL

I'm a little confused about using Strong's Number with the interlinear tool.

According to this article you can prioritize other resources like BDAG/HALOT, but it doesn't seem to be workting.

I have BDAG/HALOT prioritized, but TDNT and DBL is still what opens when i click on Strong's Numbers.  Is there something else I need to do?  Is there a way to show BDAG/HALOT when hovering over the numbers instead?

BDAG and HALOT are not actually indexed with Strong's numbers. Unfortunately, the support article is in error with the resources it is suggesting. In order to determine if a resource contains a Strong's number index, check the Information pane for the resource (available either in the panel menu of an opened resource, or by using the "i" button in the library and selecting a resource). You will find an "Indexes" section in the Information pane. In order for prioritization to work for this, you will need to see "Greek Strong's Number" or "Hebrew Strong's Number" in the list of Indexes.

As an alternative, if you prefer BDAG/HALOT, you will instead want to prioritize those resources and use the lemma to look up the article. This can be done in a couple of ways.

    1. Right click on the word, make sure the lemma is selected on the left side (it has a little broken circle icon), then click Look Up on the right side or click the abbreviation of the desired resource.
    2. Or, check your Program Settings. Make sure the Double-Click (or Triple-Click) action is set to "Look up". Then make sure "Prefer Lemmas" is set to "Yes". Then just double click on the word.
    3. Or, open the Information panel from the tools menu. Configure the sections you want to have visible. The definition section will include an excerpt from your preferred Dictionaries and Lexicons. You can set that panel to update when you hover or click on a word.

Thanks for the clarification.  I have it setup for double-click and that works fine.
