Though I think you would have benefited from asking more about how the courses work. Over the years, myself included, have found the lack of graphics disappointing. Faithlife uses a blank white screen which can get hard on the eyes overtime. Compound this with the fact that the charts, photos, graphs, etc. that are referenced are not included in the transcripts. I think courses would sell much better if those were included. It would be even better if you could elect to buy the book with the course to read along.

My beef with courses is that, though I appreciate them, they are largely just a teacher in front of a white screen reading from a transcript - and so - they aren’t really any different than written material. The only difference is that you can see someone standing and reading the written transcript. However they are prohibitively expensive. I have acquired a few courses for free from Logos (which is very generous of them). But at roughly $500 for many of them, that are not accredited in any way, it is way out of the ballpark of what I’d ever spend - especially when, with most of them the book is only about $20 instead. I save the $480 and just read the book - which is nearly the same as seeing a talking head read near identical material to me.
If the teachers treated the material as they do more naturally and normally like in a small classroom setting - perhaps even some back and forth audio with previous students questions - it would be more worth the price IMO. Though I’ve gained some good knowledge and understanding from the courses, they’re too much like a monotone reading of a dead manuscript from what I’ve experienced. Let the teachers teach like normal and be more passionate - maybe even let the videos include a full classroom with banter from teachers and students and it would be much much better.
