I did the update to the latest beta version (13.1.23) today.
On three android devices (android 11, 12 and 13), the app crashes immediately after startup.

I am confused by your post. What is "version 13.1.23"? Is this your version of Android or of the Logos Mobile app? It is my understanding that the newest version of Logos is 22.x.
I do see that an update was shipped, which may be stable only. It says that it fixes a crash on Android.
I also experience the beta version of the app crashing on startup (Google Pixel Pro 6).
Version number is labeled 23.0.0 in the play store description
13.1.2023 is the date of the version in the goggle play store.

Same for me, it's crashing every time.
Since installing the latest version, the app crashes each time it starts. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still crashes

This happened to me yesterday. About two minutes before I was due to preach using Preaching Mode on my tablet! Thankfully, I was able to get my notes on the Logos app on my phone.
I can see that the update was installed yesterday which apparently fixes the crash at startup.
However, the app reports an error and spinning wheel if I attempt to open a sermon in Preaching Mode.
The app still crashes if I attempted to open a Sermon document.
Then it continues to crash on startup if the sermon document remains open (I catch a glimpse of the document before it crashes).
In order to get the app to stop crashing I have to be quick enough to close the Sermon document and then close and restart.
In any case, it doesn't appear that the bug is fixed yet.
We are investigating this issue further. Thank you all for your diligence in reporting.

Just got the new update and I can open the Home tab again without crashing!
