Crash of the app directly at startup
I did the update to the latest beta version (13.1.23) today.
On three android devices (android 11, 12 and 13), the app crashes immediately after startup.

I am confused by your post. What is "version 13.1.23"? Is this your version of Android or of the Logos Mobile app? It is my understanding that the newest version of Logos is 22.x.
I do see that an update was shipped, which may be stable only. It says that it fixes a crash on Android.

I also experience the beta version of the app crashing on startup (Google Pixel Pro 6).
Version number is labeled 23.0.0 in the play store description

13.1.2023 is the date of the version in the goggle play store.

Since installing the latest version, the app crashes each time it starts. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still crashes

And the fix was in the store in time for church this morning (in Germany)! Thanks for pulling the Saturday shift to those at Faithlife that fixed it!

You are right - the home tab still crashed the app. I didn't notice that, as I hardly ever use the home tab.

Installed latest version and crash no longer occurs on startup (thankyou). However as posted above the home tab crashes now whenever I click on it.

This happened to me yesterday. About two minutes before I was due to preach using Preaching Mode on my tablet! Thankfully, I was able to get my notes on the Logos app on my phone.
I can see that the update was installed yesterday which apparently fixes the crash at startup.
However, the app reports an error and spinning wheel if I attempt to open a sermon in Preaching Mode.
The app still crashes if I attempted to open a Sermon document.
Then it continues to crash on startup if the sermon document remains open (I catch a glimpse of the document before it crashes).
In order to get the app to stop crashing I have to be quick enough to close the Sermon document and then close and restart.
In any case, it doesn't appear that the bug is fixed yet.

Just got the new update and I can open the Home tab again without crashing!

As Carey noted, we have fixed the home page crash along with a few others in the beta app 23.0.2 1230002023. Please continue to let us know if you are experiencing any other crashes while on the latest version.

With the new update I can open the home tab and I can open sermon documents.
In the version before this was not possible. Worse, after crashing when opening a sermon document, the app crashed every time I started it.
Now it works. Thanks
