Parasha Lectionary 5783
Each week, synagogues across the world read a section from the Torah (the five books of Moses). In Hebrew, this passage is called Parashat HaShavua (פָּרָשַׁת הַשָּׁבוּעַ), which means “portion of the week.” Sometimes it is called the parsha or sidra.
The Jewish community follows a schedule of readings based on the Hebrew calendar. Over the course of a year, the entire Torah is read publicly during the synagogue services. Each reading has a name based on one of the important Hebrew words in the first sentence of the passage. There are fifty-four portions in the regular cycle.
If you'd like to follow this traditional Jewish reading calendar, here is a .docx file that has the Lectionary milestones inserted. Along with it is the traditional Haftarah reading schedule which takes corresponding readings from the Tanakh. A suggested reading schedule is also added to include the Apostolic writings.
All you have to do is download the file and build your Personal Book. Be sure to build it as type "Lectionary" otherwise it won't open to the correct date.
Sorry I forgot to upload it last October.

Hi Genghis,
First off, thank you for sharing this resource. It is extremely helpful. However, I have a few questions that maybe you can help me with. I had forgotten how to import the book, so I had to google the answer and found this article about adding a lectionary to your home screen.
https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038232392-How-do-I-use-my-lectionary-in-Logos-
At first, that seemed like a great idea, so after importing the book as a type lectionary, I followed the above procedures to add it to my home screen. The only problem I am having is when I click on it, Logos opens the Torah portion in multiple versions, plus a commentary, plus another book that has nothing to do with the lectionary, and two explorer windows. I don’t even fully understand what the explorer windows are. What is your method to open this lectionary without the additional fluff and stuff? I want to be able to have it open the lectionary, my default Bible, and maybe one commentary. All of the other stuff opening at once is too much.
Any thoughts?
Again, thank you for the resource.
Blessings,
Michael

Sorry, for taking so long to get back to you.
It sounds like you have a default layout and this is opening up the other resources.
I hope this help
