We are using the Digital Signage app on a few Firesticks. One of our Firesticks has recently started going back to the main screen every now and then. How can we troubleshoot this issue?
We have gotten a few reports recently. I couldn’t reproduce the issue on my fire stick but I noticed mine was still on. 6.x.x version for Fire Os while the customer report was on fire os 7.x.x
can you check your Fire OS version in the settings?
Double check a few settings:
Fire Stick:
Preferences>Data Usage Monitoring>Still Watching: Set to Off
Display & Sounds>Screensaver>Start Time: Set to Never
Television/Dispaly:
Your TV may have similar settings, possible under Eco settings, timers, etc.
Jordan we are having the same issue is there a solve for this?
We, too, cannot display our digital signage from Proclaim to a brand-new Amazon Firestick because it times out. We checked all the recommended settings with no luck. Anyone have additional ideas?
I believe someone did find a solution for this on newer Fire Sticks; let me try to find that and I’ll post back here.

We actually figured out our issue. After a resent firestick update, a new “still watching” setting was turned on. After 4 hours it would display a message and return to the Home Screen. You can find it under settings>preferences>data monitoring.
