I personally know Brother Copeland and if you need a source for good "sound" and "scriptural"
outlines, you owe it to yourself to check out his vast library of sermons. They can be found at

Hi Mark
Thanks for all your work on Mark Copeland's books. I see from his website that he allows folks to use his material which is great.
I have tried converting some of his PDF files to Word docx files using Calibre but they don't turn out good. Have you any suggestions as how to do an almost perfect conversion. I would be interested to know what program you use for conversion to Word. Keep up the good work.

Yes Gerald, my suggestion is an easy one and doesn't involve converting the PDF Files.
I simply copy each outline (one at a time) and paste each one into Microsoft Word.
When I talked to Brother Copeland (back during the end of the Pandemic), believe he told
me that he formats each in WORD. Didn't ask him them, but believe he does them on a
MAC instead of a PC. However, I find that everyone is formatted just perfectly for formatting
for use in LOGOS. The Headings might be off just a bit , and each sub-heading in a particular
outline might have to be inserted manually or "adjusted," but so far, has been very easy to
edit for use in LOGOS. The real problem is not a problem, but just a matter of time. Took me a
pretty good while to format the Eighty-Eight(88) outlines ("one at a time"). However, I find that
it was a lot quicker and simpler to do it this way than to mess with any of the PDF Files.
One thing I did was first create a smaller book first using Copeland's outlines for his Study Guide
for the Book of Mark. There are seventeen (17) outlines. Then, I next created a second book
using just the Eighty-Eight (88) Textual Outlines for Mark. Lastly, I went back and inserted the
Outlines from the study guide for Mark into their proper place into the book containing the textual
outlines, making sure to label (assign a name for each group of outlines according to chapter). This
I did using an older version of Word.Hope that helps. I use Calibre, but mostly for EPUB files. EPUB file are easy, but time-consumig,
since each EPUB is basically a large collection of smaller .HTML files. I copy and extract each HTML
into word then format them in WORD. Anyway, back to your POST==> Unless the PDF file is formatted
professionally as in Adobe Acrobat, MS WORD, etc.... it is better, most of the time, if you can avoid using
PDF Files. You can also copy the text in a PDF directly into WORD, but what if there are a bunch of Words
in Hebrew/Greek??Mark
